The planned demolition of the community would also include Khan al Ahmar’s school, made of tyres and mud, which educates 170 children aged between 6 and 14. The demolition follows the recent destruction of other schools in Area C such as the donor-funded kindergarten at Jabal al Baba on the 21st of August this year.
